izabelle falvo mildura artist art

Not a work I love, but at least I got to experiment and learn 😊 I created the moon by making a little well structure using modelling paste, and then filling it with paint and Liquitex pouring medium.
Size: 8×10 inches
Materials – Acrylic paints: Royal and Langnickel, Mont Marte, Reeves, Kaisercraft.
Special effects acrylic paints: Pebeo Fantasy, Pebeo Moon, Jacquard Lumiere.
Pigments: Jacquard Pearl Ex pigments.
Glitters: Sullivans.
Acrylic mediums: Mont Marte gesso, Reeves brand modelling, coarse, iridescent and gloss gel mediums, Atelier Liquefying Medium, Chromacryl Impasto Gel Medium, Liquitex Pouring Medium.
Approximately 11 hours of work.

Growing up in the Sunraysia region of Victoria, I had an interest in visual art since age 8. After completing my Bachelor of Visual Arts (Graphic Design) in 2010, I went on to work as a photojournalist for the next 2 years. Due to chronic health issues, I now enjoy less strenuous forms of visual art, such as drawing, painting and film. I love experimenting with different mediums. Except oil paint. I'm not willing to give that a second chance...
